ABOUT
For this project, we set out to elevate the Tim Tam experience with premium, festive packaging tailored for two key occasions: Valentine's Day in Japan and Lunar New Year in China. The goal was to create a unique gifting experience that resonates deeply with affluent consumers in these markets, while enhancing brand visibility and preference during these culturally significant celebrations.
LAYERS OF LOVE & LUXURY
Central to the design was the idea of 'layers'—this takes inspiration from Tim Tam itself, with its irresistible layers of chocolate, cream & biscuit.
Through research and insights, the design hones into each culture’s distinct symbolism. For Japan, we embraced an elegant, romantic design that takes inspiration of a handwritten love letter, incorporating elements that evoke love, playfulness, and the spirit of gifting. Meanwhile, for Lunar New Year in China, we crafted an opulent yet sophisticated packaging design, celebrating prosperity, good fortune, and the joy of sharing during this festive season.
