In 2020, NASA launched the Perseverance Rover to Mars in search for signs of ancient microbial life, which will advance NASA's quest to explore the past habitability of Mars and continue advancing the future of human exploration of Mars.

In celebration of the mission, PONY International looked to drop a NASA collab in their iconic City Wings-Hi silhouette, dubbed the PONY X-PLORATION. As part of a small-scale campaign to launch the shoe, we created animated key visuals and teasers for release on social media channels.

Taking inspiration from the sequence of events leading up to a mission itself, the key visuals is imagined to take you on a journey from mission control room to launch in a space shuttle, to finally riding the back of the rover on Mars.
